South star Karthi settles for arranged marriage

Wedding bells are tolling for Tamil star Karthik Sivakumar aka Karthi. He will tie the knot with an English literature graduate named Ranjani from Chennai.

The match has been fixed by the elders of the families. In fact, it was Karthi’s father Sivakumar who made the announcement of Karthi’s marriage with Ranjani. The wedding date has been fixed too. It’s July 3, 2011.

Ranjani is MA post-graduate in English literature from Stella Maris College in Chennai. She is the daughter of Erode Chinnasamy and Jothi Meenakshi Sneha Reddy.

Karthi, on the other hand, has studied Industrial Engineering from the US. He began his acting career in 2007 with the superhit film Paruthiveeran. Thereafter, he has starred in box office success like Naan Mahaan Alla, Siruthai and Aayirathil Oruvan.
